Accessibility Statement

Turning Pointe, A Dance Studio wants every family to be able to use this website, including people who rely on a screen reader, a keyboard, captions or magnification. We hold the site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we have done

Every page has a skip link that jumps straight past the menu to the main content. Images carry text descriptions. Menus, dropdowns and pop up windows work with a keyboard. We test each page with the axe accessibility checker against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 at levels A and AA, and we fix what it finds. We also check color contrast and how the pages read on a phone.

What is outside our control?

Some parts of the site come from other companies. Class registration and the parent portal run on Akada, the registration form on our Register page comes from Jotform, and maps come from Google. We pick tools that take accessibility seriously, but we cannot change how their pages are built. If one of them gets in your way, tell us and we will help you finish what you were trying to do another way.

How do I report a problem?

If something on this site is hard to see, hear, read or use, please let us know. Call the studio at (407) 862-5500, email inquiries@turningpointedance.com, or stop by the front desk at 145 Wekiva Springs Rd. Suite 145 in Longwood. Tell us the page and what happened. We will get back to you, and we can always sign your dancer up or answer questions over the phone.
