Bianca Khoury  
Studio Owner
Bianca Khoury has been part of the Turning Pointe family since the doors were opened in 1996. It is at Turning Pointe where she obtained her dance education in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and other various dance forms. While attending Rollins College and pursuing an International Business degree, Bianca began her career in teaching dance. Because of this experience she learned her true passion: sharing her love of dance to children. Upon graduation Bianca became the new owner of Turning Pointe- A Dance studio. Entering her fourth year as the studio owner, she is very excited to see what the future holds for Turning Pointe. With a great staff, wonderful students and supportive families, the future will undoubtedly be bright.
Cathy Mae
Cathryn Cavanaugh

Cathryn has been dancing since she was 5 years old. She danced competitively throughout high school right here in Central Florida. After graduating from Bishop Moore she completed her AA Degree and studied Dance at Valencia. She then continued her education and earned her Bachelor's Degree from UCF. (Go Knights) She has been teaching dance at Turning Pointe since 1997. She is also currently the choreographer for the Wekiva River Players Junior Theatre; she has been teaching Musical Theatre Productions with WRP since 2004. She is also very proud to be one of the founding co-directors of the new Wekiva River Players Repertory Theatre. She loves to share her joy of dance and performance with all her students.

Heather Meyer

Heather currently attends UCF where she is a Social Science Secondary Education major. She has been teaching dance for the last five years. Following graduation from the Dr. Phillips High School dance magnet program, Heather continued her training at USF and North Carolina School of the Arts; she also danced with the Ballet South Company for two years. Heather enjoys sharing her passion of dance (especially ballet) with all of her students. A highlight of her summer was her second visit to Hope for Haiti Children's Center, where she taught the children at the orphanage dance during her 10 day visit.

Missy Van Anda

Missy started dancing at 3 in Lockport, NY. At 5 her family moved to Florida where she continued to dance. Upon graduating from high school, she taught dance for 4 years at Coral Springs Academy of Dance, while attending community college in Ft. Lauderdale. She then moved to Orlando to attend UCF. During this time she also taught dance in Lake Mary, graduated from UCF with a Bachelor's in Mathematics Education and taught math at Lake Brantley High School. She left dancing for a few years to have babies and work on her Master's Degree in School Guidance at UCF. After the birth of her second child and graduating with her Master's(which happened in the same week), she began dancing again at Turning Pointe. She is an elementary school guidance counselor in Seminole County, and happy to be teaching dance again, especially at Turning Pointe.
Angela
Angela Kenski

Angela kenski has been dancing since the age of 3 and competing since the age of 7. She has been at Turning Ponte since day one, and jazz and lyrical are her favorite areas. After graduating from Lake Brantley High School in 2007 she now attends SCC. While at Lake Brantley she was a member of the dance team all 4 years and captain for 2. During that time she chorographed multiple numbers while winning a choreography award in 2007 from the MA Regional Dance Competition. She now assist the high school dance team.She can't wist to share her love of dancing with everyone that wants to learn.

Kelsey
Kelsey Kerrebrock

Kelsey had been a dancer for the past 17 years. She has competed in numorous competitions and attended conventions as part of the company at Turning Pointe. She has been with the studuo since they opened in 1996. Before moving to Florida, she danced in Southern California at a local studio.Kelsey graduated from Lake Brantley High School in 2005 and has currently finished her AA degree in Pastry Arts at the Orlando Culinary Academy, where she learned how to use her creativity in different ways. She has been teaching for 2 years and hopes to continue. She loves to share her passion for dance, especially jazz and lyrical, with her students and enjoys developing them into passionate and enthusiastic dancers.
