- All studio accounts must be current or you will be ineligible to participate in solos or

- If you as a dancer or parent would like to speak to a teacher regarding a situation or concern, a meeting MUST be arranged to do so.
- No meetings will be arranged one week before or after a STARS event.
- All studio fund raising is optional. Only those participating in the event will benefit from the profits. Please get involved and stay involved!

Appropriate shoes are also required.
- STARS set the example for other dancers at Turning Pointe… We expect you to be respectful to teachers, parents and other dancers - in the studio, at
competition and convention. Any activity or behavior deemed unacceptable by us will result in probation or dismissal from the program without warning.
- All STARS are required to wear Turning Pointe attire to STARS events.
- This commitment is a FAMILY one and needs to be taken seriously. Your dedication, commitment and discipline are needed to strengthen the program and help it continue to grow. We need EVERYONE to understand and accept this commitment in order for it to work. Please understand these rules are to help this growth and will be enforced to benefit everyone involved in the STARS program.
- Participation in this program is an honor and should be treated as such. All dancers should take pride in their studio. Parents, dancers and teachers should always set a good example and respect those around them. Treat others as you would want to be treated. Cheer for anyone and everyone, especially from within your own studio! Be gracious and polite, no matter what level medal or trophy you receive. Remember, we all dance because we love it, NOT to see who gets the better award. Always dance for yourself and your happiness!
- School is VERY important, and you must keep your grades up to remain in the STARS program. Your parent(s) are responsible for making the decisions regarding consequences for you and your performance at school, but we will back them up on whatever they decide is appropriate for your particular situation.
- If you fail to finish the year out as a STARS member, you will be required to give all your current costumes to Turning Pointe to use to rework choreography. You will not receive any funds for these costumes.
- In addition to giving your costumes to Turning Pointe, you will also be responsible for paying a fee of $200 for pulling out before the end of the year. Quitting in the middle of the year causes many problems and forces the teachers and dancers to dedicate more time and energy into revising choreography, casts, costumes, etc.
- No money will be refunded for fees paid prior to pulling out.
